Kokomo Art Association

Jennifer Nichols was born and raised in the Kokomo, Indiana area. She graduated from Purdue University with a minor in Art & Design along with a degree in Communications and a focus in advertising and gained her first professional art experience in graphic design. She has worked for newspapers designing print ads and also for multiple screen printers designing t-shirts and apparel. She also enjoyed teaching art classes at the Kokomo YMCA. While she likes to dabble in multiple forms of art across several different media, she primarily specializes in pencil drawings as well as painting with watercolors and acrylics.

 

Jennifer has always had a strong passion and love for the arts. She draws her inspiration from the beauty of nature, music and architecture. Jennifer spends a lot of her free time painting unless she is working on a commissioned pencil piece. She does custom paintings and pencil portraits by request.
