Paper Cutting Class by Christina Hollering

Christina is offering a 2.5 hour hands-on workshop for participants ages 13 and older to explore the art of cut paper design with a unique twist: creating glowing artwork using black light reactive materials.

Participants will learn essential design concepts such as symmetry, negative space, pattern and balance while crafting a finished piece that glows under black light. This session encourage creativity, fine motor skills, and experimentation with both traditional and contemporary artistic techniques, resulting in a vibrant ready to frame cut paper cut paper artwork.

The workshop will begin with an introduction to the tools and materials we'll use, followed by guided sketching designs. I will teach participants how to cut and layer their designs while incorporating unconventional UV responsive materials.
